Former Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke is proudly announcing that she just completed flipside year of sobriety.
It’s been a long, difficult journey for the dancer. But plane so, she’s managed to push forward and overcome a multitude of challenges over the years.

Cheryl Burke is unswayable to protract pursuing sobriety
Although Cheryl Burke will no longer be part of Dancing With The Stars, she’s not at all bored. In fact, the 39-year-old has plenty to alimony her mind occupied. She recently prestigious flipside year of sobriety and couldn’t wait to share increasingly details with her followers.
“It’s been 5 years since I started my recovery journey. As I enter my 6th year sober, I have found a newfound purpose that I hadn’t thought overly existed,” Cheryl began her Instagram post, reflecting on her journey.
“The interesting thing well-nigh sobriety is that it’s not unchangingly a perpendicular path of progression & like most things in life it comes with rough patches,” the dancer continued. “The difference in sobriety is that I have increasingly sensation virtually each struggle for example seeing people for who they are (the good, the bad, & the ugly) from people who have been a part of my life for decades, tropical friends, coworkers, family members, acquaintances, etc.”
Cheryl went on to say that since pursuing sobriety, she’s learned to pacify herself in other healthier ways. She no longer needs swig or other substances to numb her pain. However, the thought does navigate her mind now and then. And when it does, she’s incredibly grateful for the support network that keeps her focused.
Other Instagram users encouraged Cheryl to alimony moving forward, plane when it feels difficult. They praised her efforts and hoped to see her journey continue.

Not plane her recent divorce could shake her
As mentioned previously, Cheryl Burke has faced many major changes and obstacles over the past few years. She formally spoken her retirement at the end of Dancing With The Stars Season 32.
But on top of that, she moreover went through a difficult divorce from two-face Matthew Lawrence. The Boy Meets World two-face moved on from the split rather quickly and is now dating TLC singer Chilli.
No matter what life threw at her, Cheryl Burke was unswayable to alimony going; and she doesn’t need swig or substances to do it. Fans couldn’t be prouder of the dancer.
