Selena Gomez Shares Romantic 'Happy First Virtual Date'

"Long distance relationship vibes," Gomez wrote in hashtag above a photo of the romantic, handmade card

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are expressing some love from afar.

On Wednesday, the singer and actress uploaded a snapshot of a wonderful handmade card presented to her by her partner, in celebration of a very important event.

"Happy first virtual date! - Benny," read the writing inside the card on one side, with a hand-drawn flower on the other that was likely inked by Blanco, 36.

"#Long distance relationship vibes," Gomez, 31, wrote in hashtag over the photo on her Instagram Story.

Gomez allegedly confirmed her affair with producer Blanco when she liked a series of postings about the two dating in December 2023. Under one post from PopFaction’s post that stated, “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms That She Is in a Relationship,” she simply replied, “Facts.”

"He is my entire everything in my heart," the Only Murders in the Building actress said in a another remark, before adding to a fan, "Then why has he been the finest thing that's ever happened to me. The end."

The pair demonstrated they were still going strong as the new year started, attending the 2024 Golden Globe Awards together. In a snapshot Gomez uploaded to her Instagram Story, she and Blanco kissed as she gripped around her boyfriend's neck. "I won," she captioned it.

Despite becoming public with their relationship just in recent months, the two had known each other for a few years, previously worked on Gomez's 2019 smash English-Spanish track with J Balvin, titled “I Can't Get Enough.”

While chatting to presenter Zane Lowe during a February interview on Apple Music 1's New Music Daily to promote her track "Love On," Gomez spoke out about her relationship with Blanco.

“Without getting into too much detail, I think it's just really important to meet someone that respects you,” she stated at the time. “And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say generally it's the safest that I feel and it's been very wonderful and I've only developed from it, so it's awesome.”

In celebration of her boyfriend's birthday earlier this month, Gomez gave Blanco a romantic shout-out on Instagram.

"Happy birthday baby! Your emotional endurance, good mood, tremendous ability (that blows me away), unmistakable humor and loving, kind heart simply kill me," she captioned a sequence of images and videos.

It’s unknown what the pair did on their first virtual date, but whatever it was, it seems to have left the “Love Song” singer hooked.

Blanco is also feeling pleased and in love. On Thursday, the producer uploaded a photo of the sun setting along a road with the words, “still crushing on you, even though ur already mine.”
